i really am trying. but i just.....
time seems to be against me. but that's just me putting the blame on something/one else.
sometimes i guess what they say is true.
you are your greatest enemy.
no one else can make THE decision for you, except you yourself.
which is why i say procrastination is one, if not my major, of my weaknesses.
and really, someone told me everyone procrastinates - not in direct words, but the meaning is there. but i say true that, but the extent of the procrastination makes the difference.
i always remember.. everytime i'm facing the consequences of my really-hard-as-hell-to-kick habit, i promise myself:
Next time - and there shouldn't be a next time really, this will not happen. i will do what i'm supposed to do when i'm supposed to do it.
i guess, if you wanna argue the technicalities of it, when you say 'next time', you're already prophesising that it is going to happen again. so really, saying 'this will not happen' is pointless and futile.

jas's tag just made me realise how 'aptly' named my blog is... twilightebony.
the picture you see when the page is loaded... that's the sunset.
twilight - the time in between moonset and sunrise and between sunset and moonrise. [courtesy of the book twilight by stephenie meyer. that's how i know what twilight is..] which [i'm hoping/thinking] is the time that i've captured when taking that picture. [just so that my explanation here works.] :)
ebony - well, by some quirk of my phone camera, the trees and everything other than the sky turned out black. funny that. so yeah....
twilightebony.
no i didn't plan it. it just somehow struck me. i have no idea why i chose twilightebony for my blog in the first place.
such a coincidence.
and to quote my all-time favourite anime.. the dubbed version mind you, at least that's what it was when i heard it..
'there's no such thing as coincidence, only inevitabilities.'
