So i decided to try out the iLike widget thingy that was posted about on Blogger Buzz.
The damned thing didn't have the full song of Satellite. Argh.
I managed to salvage about 75% of my music database. I was sitting on my bed yesterday, surfing the net and just playing random songs on my com when it struck me that I actually DID [somehow] manage to burn all my songs on to the DVD. So with the lightbulb flashing, I scurried to find the DVD and inserted it into my disk drive.
After that, I spent about the whole night, staring from 4pm onwards, selecting and ripping the tracks from the disc. Right now, I've got everything ripped except the main bulk of my disney songs on the disc as well as naming and moving the files to the appropriate folder.
I admit! I AM anal about the organisation of my music files. I guess it's some kind of OCD, you could say. :D
Since I'm on the topic of music, anybody have the song that John Travolta sang with Miley Cyrus from the Bolt soundtrack?
I'm not usually a fan of Miley Cyrus but I like the beat and lyrics of the song. Hell, I've never seen a single movie/episdoe or whatever that she's acted in, Disney's Bolt aside.
It's a modern John Travolta song!! His voice is good...

I was doing my nightly [ok, maybe more than that] check on fp stories and reading an author's lj. And it just hit me...
I really should get to writing this story that I've wanted to write.
Well, I mean. Getting down to writing a story. I've been wanting to write one since... at least the middle of Sec 4. I also have to finish and edit my Hawksong fanfic. I have about... 3 chapters, not very long chapters. And from memory, I think it has too much of writing from the original book, dialogue mainly. Now, I'm wondering if I need those descriptions that AAR has in the book. A bit redundant to anyone who's read the book no?
The main point of the Hawksong fanfic was to explore Zane's POV of the events in Hawksong. From recent explorations of the Kiesha'ra and In The Forests Of The Night fandoms, it is evident that I'm not the only one with the same idea.
Right now, I'm waiting for Nancy Drew to start on HBO. I know, it's Nancy Drew!!!! I have a valid explanation for my um... actions.
See, there was nothing on tv this evening during dinnertime and I didn't wanna watch a DVD/VCD. So I settled for Nancy Drew. I finished dinner [yum!! proper homecooked dinner!!!] and veg-ed out in front of the tv until I had to get a key from my mum's colleague. [My mum's out of town. Again.] I collected the key and headed over to my aunt's - a corner unit just two levels down from where I live - where I stayed till late. Obviously, by the time I got back home, the movie was long finished.
Honestly, I had my reservations about watching Nancy Drew. I've never read the books and so wasn't remotely interested in watching the film. But since I settled for and started watching at least 20 mins of the movie, I HAVE to finish the movie. Just because there's a mystery in the film and I want to know the culprit/murderer.
So there you go... My valid explanation.
I'm anticipating the beginning of nightmares. Yes, monday is slowly yet surely approaching.
Dread - Here He Surges!
I have to continue Brisingr soon. I picked it up again couple of days back when I was reading it to pass time instead of sleeping [the time when I was sick] and barely finished one chapter when I realised that I couldn't remember what happened in the previous chapter/bits. Yup, it was bad. I considered restarting the whole book or even just flipping through to parts before to jog my memory about events before the chapter I was reading.
Haha, I was too lazy. Yup. So I continued on anyway. Heh. :P
I did my own Pirates marathon. Been watching Star Movies [and HBO too, hence the Nancy Drew watching] which is going to be airing the three Pirates movies on the next three Sundays. I heard the ads so many times that I got 'kind of'' brainwashed into putting in the discs and watching them almost back to back. Between Pirates 1 and 2, I 'retired for the night'. [That sounds really really old-fashioned. Heh. But I couldn't phrase it any other way without sounding wrong.]
Pirates 3 I watched twice. NOT back to back though. Haha.... Overload!!!!
Yes yes.. My show's starting. I'm done.
Hear ye, Hear ye! Let The Nightmare begin.
