random update

i'm so random. my roommate was writing a poem for some myspace things and i remembered the couple of poems from last year, or was it the year before? can't really remember.


Untitled

It seemed forever
Since I last saw them years ago.
I had packed up my bags,
And left when I thought they didn’t know

Then some time later,
I was called up in the dead of the night;
About the people I left
Now gone from my sight.

What happened was the question,
And so they told me,
That all was quite lost,
Even the tree with green leaves.

The house by the tree
Was the name that I gave,
To the place I called home
Though I was miles away.

So I repeated the process,
Of packing my bags
Of heading downtown
To get a return trip back.

To the home by the tree
Is where I will go,
That was my thought
As I took my last train home.
