finally, yes i decided [and found time] to update.

Three cheers for me!!

so, i cooked thai red curry today. of course, not from scratch. i'm no genius at cooking - that would be my mum. and when i told her that i wanted to cook curry, she was a little surprised, considering that i don't cook at home, and am still currently trying to perfect my skill in cooking rice the traditional way.

i think i let the curry boil for too long coz the chicken meat got just a bit tough. or maybe i should use a smaller fire next time.

rice turned out slightly better than the previous try. i really should stop adding water when it's halfway done. my rice always turns out soggy.

can't stop myself from worrying that the rice will be too hard or that it'll burn.

i think i added too much water to the curry, tasted a bit diluted. and i'm pretty sure that it's not supposed to be so mildly spicy. but that might just be me or the ingredients in the paste.

so i still have more chicken in the fridge that i can use to try cooking green curry - either tomorrow or the day after. don't wanna keep the meat for too long.
