but i found a new word to use that basically describes what happened to me since i came back from china/hk.
book-gasm. yeah. i got it somewhere off fp. so no, i didn't create that word.
i'm so happy yet i feel kinda bad. he got me a $60 borders voucher, then yesterday, he gave me another $120. he said his reason was for not getting me anything for my birthday. despite my telling him that he didn't need to waste so much money, he went ahead anyway. so, i was looking through my bags and i found my other borders voucher from last year. i can't remember. the good thing about borders vouchers is that it doesn't have an expiry date, as opposed to kino's which only lasts for a year.
last year's grand total of $250 kino vouchers are already gone. gee.. i didn't know i could spend that much on books. well, not all were spent on books. i gave $30 to tian ying, though i don't think she managed to spend it; and $10 had already expired when i last went to kino. oh well. woe to my forgetfulness.
right. so the craziest thing i did during the whole hols since o's ended?
haha.. on second thought,it's not that crazy though.
and this is the negative of it. i now like taking photos with the negative effect-excuse the pun, it was unintended.
this one. was just for fun. gah. was trying to take all my fingers, but didn't succeed. so there! argh.
oh. this is one of the pics i took of the disneyland fireworks in hk. did i mention that the hk disneyland is pathetically small? if i didn't, here you go.
i took many more photos, but my phone cam sucks big time. my mum wasn't with me so i couldn't use her ultra-good phone cam. and well, i forgot to bring my backdated, miserable digicam, which has the same resolution as my mum's phone, and yet produces photos of much more inferior quality compared to the phone cam. the wonders of technology.
a pity i couldn't take sleeping beauty's castle with the fireworks. it was quite a lovely sight!
christmas was..
well, kinda mundane. don't know. the only good thing that came out of it was that i finally gave my bro his very first present from me.
the oh-so-highly anticipated item-as it should be if i may voice a conceited opinion about it- was a wallet from us polo. huh...
he's already using it. haha... he confessed to finding the use of a 'proper' wallet rather redundant and showed off his old wallet from 5years ago.
his tRUSTY(not that it is) old wallet? --a paper clip. er... not the kind which is just one loop of metal. it's...what do they call it? a jumbo clip?-or smth like it. gah. i don't know how to describe it. hah... my bro was telling us some funny story he and his wallet encountered.
ok.. i'm tired of typing. hmm.. maybe when my hols end, i'll post up a list of the craziest-in my opinion-things i've done this whole holiday. haha.
