ok.. i just remebered that i wanted to post something about suriya and rimple. was watching national geographic just now.. looking at anteaters and the armadillion...however you spell it.
yeah.. and i remembered few weeks ago, during recess or some in between time during lessons.
we were discussing bio and rimple and suriya were disagreeing on some answer for the pyramid of numbers and biomass. haha.... honestly, i don't quite get the pyramid of biomass myself. anyway, here's what happened...
suriya: ok.. i ask you, which one is bigger? shark or microorganism?
rimple: of course microorganism!
shocked faces looking at rimple.
[pause]everyone bursts out laughing
rimple: wait, what's the question again?
suriya: hahaha... shark bigger or microorganism bigger?[we're still laughing]
rimple: shark!! shark is bigger! i thought you were talking about biomass!
everyone still laughing...
enter jasvir...
me: wait.. ask jasvir
hidz: okok...
suriya: ay! jasvir, i ask you something ah... which one bigger: shark bigger or microorganism bigger?
jasvir:[perplexed look on her face, we confused her before, regarding her recessive and dominant genes.]
is this a trick question?
rimple:[smiling] just answer.
jasvir: ok.. shark la... the microorganism is sooo tiny!
we burst out laughing...again.
jasvir: what? what's so funny? isn't that the correct answer?
me/hidz: let rimple and suriya tell you...
so they reenacted the whole scene to jasvir... who joined us in our peals of laughter. just to tease rimple about it, we asked some other ppl like amy, jane and joahanna, if i remember correctly.
haha....
lots of funny things happened the day of our eng oral too... haha... but i can't remember... and jasvir's hardcore episode. more details go read her blog! haha....
the issue - hardcore[kaur] vs. softcrust... or soft singh, according to rimple... haha.. yeah i'm taking a break from blogging about prelims for today... needed something to lighten up my day.
found out that the kiesha'ra series, by amelia atwater-rhodes, consists of 5 books.
In reading order,
Hawksong
Snakecharm
Falcondance
Wolfcry
Wyvernhail
Wolfcry, written in Oliza Shardae Cobriana's [heir to the thrones of the avian and serpiente] perspective, is due to be released on 12th Septmber this year and Wyvernhail, i'm not sure whose perspective it'll be in, next year Septmber if my estimation is correct. sigh.. i wish there was more about Danica Shardae and Zane Cobriana. There's so much more to be explored about them- lifestyle, customs and traditions and relationship. sobs... oh well.... i felt that Falcondance was kind of a letdown, mostly because i didn't expect it to be about Nicias Silvermead and the revelation of the roots of the serpiente and avian war... I wonder why Nicias didn't take the name of his father's assumed form.
I'm gonna buy Wolfcry the moment it hits the stores. and... i found a new book to read. Sebastian, Book 1 of the Ephemera Duology by Anne Bishop. i checked the kino website but they don't seem to have it. i'll probably check again when i go to kino after exams. Book 2 of the Ephemera Duology, Belladonna, will be published in march 2007! yes!
good news still to come, Anne Bishop says that there will be another Black Jewels novel. that's so cool... she said surreal, lucivar, daemon and jaenelle will be in it. what about saetan??? he's the one where most of the humour is centered around. no title as of yet. i'll be waiting for it.
yeah... that's it about my book update. and this blog update tooo..... till next week.
